5 Years Later | Tieks Follow Up Ballet Flats Review
I’ve been a Tieks Ballet Flats customer for over 5 years now. Because of my love for this brand, I would like to share a follow up review of these flats. Many readers have asked me how my Tieks look now 5+ years later. How well did they hold up? How is the quality?

Are Tieks worth it?
Yes, of course! I encourage you to invest in quality over quantity. This aligns well with the #BuyMeOnce campaign to help you find items that will last years to decades.
How is the quality?
It has been over 5 years since I first purchased my Tieks ballet flats. As you know, my first 2 pairs were the Black Obsidian patent pair and the Ruby Red patent pair. My 3rd pair followed shortly afterward with Lilac Purple classic.
I’m showing you real-life photos from each of these pairs. As you can see, they have held up well. There is only a minor scratch on the black heel of my Black Left Pair – likely from driving in them and pushing my heel into the ground. You can also see some sweat marks on the soles but those have improved as I wear no-show socks or these small cushions with them (learn more in this blog post).
Should I get these foldable ballet flats?
Yes, the quality is excellent. I’ve added to my own collection over the past 5+ years. If you are looking for your pair to last the longest, I recommend the patent version. I easily wipe these clean and even wear them in light to moderate rain because I know the patent leather will hold up well to the elements.
