Casual Winter Outfit + Socks for Short & Tall Boots
Cooler temperatures are finally hitting Southern California this week! It was a heat-wave last week so it was difficult finding inspiration for winter outfits! But now that morning temperatures are in the 40s, I have layered more going to and from work and running errands. Today, I am talking more about a casual winter outfit that I LOVE + new winter socks that are keeping me warm with colder temperatures (and while traveling to snowy climates).

I like to layer items for warmth and this fleece lined wrap cardigan is one of my favorites. It comes in 10+ colors and this mink color is the perfect tan neutral. Plus, it comes in a wide variety of sizes (more info on my size in this blog post). When I’m wearing neutral colors, adding in a pop of color is always fun and I like this fall-inspired burgundy hue for winter weather. Dark wash jeans are always a go-to for winter weather and I’m glad I found an old pair of Ugg boots that are so cozy with Sherpa fleece lining! (sorry I could not find a exactly similar pair of these but Chelsea-style boots are a great alternative to them)
For ankle boots or Chelsea-style boots (my pick here), I really like the look of layering a warm sock and showing off the top of it over jeans or leggings. That means you must have both stylish and comfortable/cozy socks to wear!
