How to Style an Ivory Leather Jacket + 9 Jacket Options
I often see posts on how to style black leather jackets but it’s difficult to find guides on styling ivory leather jackets. That’s why my friend reached out to me for style advice on this jacket. She had purchased it on sale and loved the fit but didn’t know how to put together outfits for it. She asked if I could help her with styling this jacket and was particularly interested in styling it for date nights or nights out with her girlfriends. Of course, I said yes and she insisted that I also photograph it for this blog post to share with all of you! Ivory Leather Jacket: Date Night Outfit #1
When styling an ivory or neutral colored leather jacket (think light gray or blush pink), I like to pick out 2 other colors to go with it—one is a neutral color and one is a bright color. For this outfit, I chose black as my neutral and teal green as my bright color. I absolutely LOVE a black tank paired with an ivory jacket. I’m wearing my go-to one from Banana Republic and here are a few similar styles below. I brought the black color into my shoes with these block heeled sandals in black to perfectly tie the outfit together. For my bright color, my teal green denim jeans are just perfect. If you don’t own this specific denim color, alternatives include: red/burgundy or olive green. I finished off the look with a wallet clutch in blush pink.

For the second outfit, I wanted to pair a dress with this leather jacket. Lace dresses are one of my favorite dress styles because they add so much dimension and texture to an outfit. I opted for a classic navy dress with nude lining underneath. I finished off the look with neutral pumps that I love from Salvatore Ferragamo (this brand is SO comfortable but a definite investment piece).
Because of the neutral tone of ivory, you can easily wear this jacket with other dress colors. I also own a red dress I would like to pair with it. The one color I would stay away from it white. The similar tone of white and ivory can be difficult to wear together and it’s easy to avoid with all the other color options you have.

For those wondering about sizing of this ivory leather jacket, it’s a size XS and fit well on me. It’s a little shorter and boxier than I would personally like. The arms are just slightly too long on me. The leather is gorgeous and soft and if you’re looking for an investment piece, I recommend this one.
